PVC Construction
All of FM's vinyl windows are manufactured using durable, maintenance-free, lead free, 100 % pure virgin uPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride or vinyl).

PVC is the material of choice for both new construction and replacement window applications because it will not rust, corrode, blister, flake or peel and can be ordered in a countless variety of colors. Our thick, multi-chambered frames and sashes are all fusion welded and designed to outperform in Canada's tough and varied climate, resisting air and water infiltration and providing exceptional insulation against heat and cold. All windows come with flexible, dual durometers which hug the glass to keep moisture out of the glazing pocket and are wet sealed to create a permanent bond between the glass and frame or sash.
